Ancillotti, the Italian Bike Brand, the First Among the Historical Brands of MISE

ā€‹

Ancillotti bicycles hold a unique position in the industry. They are the first bikes produced by an Italian brand listed in the Special Register of Historical Brands. This company, which has marked Italian history in the motor sector and boasts a long and esteemed tradition spanning over 50 years, is now on the market with modern and innovative bicycles that highlight the typical craftsmanship of the Florentine house.

Ancillotti is a brand that must be mentioned when discussing high-performance motorcycles, motors, and bicycles.

Ancillotti, First in the Historical Register of MISE

At first glance, Ancillotti bicycles represent the pinnacle of modern and innovative design, unafraid to take risks and reflecting great attention to detail, typical of artisanal production. What is not immediately noticeable is another feature that makes these two-wheelers truly special.

Ancillotti is indeed the first Italian bike brand to be listed in the Special Register of Historical Brands of National Interest established in 2019 by MISE, the Ministry of Economic Development. This is a notable achievement for a brand that represents excellence in both the national and international arenas.

The latest Mountain Bike models from Ancillotti include the Scarab Evo 29 and the Scarab EVO 29 DH prototype, the latter of which became the 2021 World Champion in the women’s category.

All Ancillotti bikes are crafted following the distinctive traits of the brand, which for over 50 years has focused on quality, attention to detail, and excellent production processes. Red Bull has included Ancillotti in its special Hot List of the 5 most eccentric MTBs on the planet.

The Enduro Fry model is reserved for those who perform downhill at the highest levels. To give an idea, two major names in the enduro scene, Brook MacDonald and Wyn Masters, have competed on the world stage and became champions with Ancillotti.

More modern than a classic downhill bike, from which it draws inspiration with its split top tube, Pull Shock suspension, and mirror finishes, the Enduro Fry blends design, tradition, and performance.

The design, full of stickers and logos on the turbo fork, might be confusing, but the Italian style of the historic Ancillotti brand is immediately apparent. This model, the Enduro Fry, is intended for those who perform downhill at the highest levels. To illustrate, Brook MacDonald and Wyn Masters, prominent figures in the enduro world, have achieved championships with Ancillotti.

More modern compared to a classic downhill bike, which it takes inspiration from with its split top tube, Pull Shock suspension, and chrome finishes, the Enduro Fry combines design, tradition, and performance.

The Scarab Evo 29, on the other hand, revisits a bike that made history for the brand, which had already won over enthusiasts 30 years ago with the same name. Like all Ancillotti bike models, this one also features the Pull-Shock system. This model includes interesting details, such as 29-inch wheels with a 65° steering angle, a distinctive mark of the Ancillotti house.

Ancillotti: A Historical Brand

Ancillotti is one of the most appreciated Italian brands, the first in the bike sector listed in the Special Register of Historical Brands of National Interest with registration number 29. This list, which includes only the most prestigious companies with a long tradition, was established on April 30, 2019, by MISE, the Ministry of Economic Development.
