Recently, we presented a selection of the most beautiful custom Moto Guzzi bikes crafted by Oberdan Bezzi. After thoroughly enjoying that, we decided to dive into another special ranking. This time, we focused on style rather than a single brand, and it was impossible not to zero in on "scramblers." Here’s our personal list of the top ten most effective creations by the Italian designer...

1° ANCILLOTTI SCARAB SCR 525

Why limit yourself to mere fantasy? The evocative name, striking yellow, and retro details are just a few elements that will quicken the pulse of anyone who experienced the years between 1968 and 1982, the 14 years during which Scarab was synonymous with "off-road." Bezzi revives the name of the "small" Ancillotti 2T models, 50 and 125 c.c., with which founder Gualtiero made the leap from preparer to builder. He does this by reinterpreting the past to meet modern needs; after all, the youngsters of that era are no longer inexperienced. Featuring a 525 c.c. twin-cylinder engine, inverted fork, and a wheel combination of 19’’/21’’. The exhaust? Mounted high, of course, for serious off-roading…
