ANCILLOTTI SCARAB CLUB
CLUB SCARAB
The Ancillotti Historical Register and the Ancillotti Scarab Club (a non-legal entity association) were born from the passion of Alfredo Gramitto Ricci, one of Italy's greatest collectors of Ancillotti-branded motorcycles. The official presentation of the Ancillotti Historical Register and the Ancillotti Scarab Club took place on the weekend of November 25-26, 1995, during the Novegro Swap Meet in Milan. From its first year, the Ancillotti Scarab Club boasted hundreds of members scattered throughout Italy, from Sicily to Lombardy and, of course, Tuscany. Each year, the Ancillotti Day is organized by the Ancillotti Historical Register and the Ancillotti Scarab Club, a weekend event where all owners, former riders, and enthusiasts of Ancillotti-branded motorcycles gather to showcase their bikes and have fun. It is the day for Ancillottis, where former riders reunite and relive their epic battles. The first Ancillotti Day was held in Tuscany on June 2, 1996, at the Fattoria della Consuma in the town of Consuma, province of Florence, thanks to the generosity of the Frescobaldi Family and the assistance of architect Andreoli. The purpose of the Ancillotti Historical Register is to provide enthusiasts with the technical support needed for the restoration of Ancillotti motorcycles through documentation collected over the years, including technical sheets, color charts, and stickers. The Historical Register thanks Piero and Alberto Ancillotti, "Motociclismo" magazine, "Motocross" magazine, and everyone who contributed to reconstructing the production history of all Ancillotti motorcycles from 1967 to 1985 through photographs and various documents. In 2020, the parent company of the Ancillotti brands, Ancillotti Motorcycles, published the new founding act and statutes of the Ancillotti Scarab Club for affiliation with the FMI, the Italian Motorcycling Federation. The Honorary President position is held by the founder of the Ancillotti Scarab Club, Alfredo Gramitto Ricci.
