MONZA '65
Original plate in aluminum painted in glossy black by the company G. Ancillotti (G: stands for Gualtiero Ancillotti son of Ernesto) which later became the company G. Ancillotti and F. (F= Figli: stands for sons) in 1967. G. Ancillotti was a Florentine workshop created in the post-war period in the San Frediano district in Via Santa Monaca at number 8 red in Florence, specialized in the development of motorcycles and scooters.
The 10.1 cm diameter sticker was printed by G. Ancillotti after a record was obtained on the Monza Circuit on December 2, 1965 with an Ancillotti’s elaborated Lambretta of 200 c.c displacement. The speed record on the kilometer time trial was about 172,200 kilometers per hour; it was established by one of Gualtiero Ancillotti's two sons, Alberto Ancillotti.
