In 2009, after three years of hard work, the motorcycle Ancillotti G.A. was born from the collaboration between Ancillotti Motorcycles and Mario Baglioni of Friba Racing. Cross, it was with two-stroke racing engine, in honor of the son of the founder Gualtiero Ancillotti. Here is the choice of the acronym G.A. The bike was presented to the public of E.I.C.M.A. (the 2009 Milan International Motorcycle Show).

The motorbike in the photo was brought to victory on the Polcanto track by Manuel Beconcini, a pilot from the Italian MX1 Championship who is well known in the racing world. After 25 years from the release of the last bike produced in the historic Sambuca Val di Pesa factory, on May 30, 2010 the Ancillotti 125 G.A. made its debut in competitions at the First MX Motosprint Trophy in Polcanto. In the best traditions of the Ancillotti brand, it has won in both tips obtaining the victory in the 125 class.

People who collaborated to the project of the Ancillotti G.A. are: Mario Baglioni of Friba Moto Racing, one of the most highly rated preparers on the Italian motorcycle scene, engineer Simone Boninsegni, today chief engineer of Energica S.p.a., Marco D’Aguì as coordinator and finally Andrea Ballerini as test driver.

L'Ancillotti 125 G.P. speed built by Ancillotti Motocycles in collaboration with Mario Baglioni of Friba Moto Racing.
