Valuation of Motorcycle Models Produced by Ancillotti
The "Ancillotti-Scarab Historical Register" Committee has deemed it useful to provide both a "minimum valuation" and a "maximum valuation" for each motorcycle. It should be noted that no two Ancillotti motorcycles are exactly the same. This is particularly true for older models, and it remains a valid observation up to the year 1973. Therefore, this should not be an excuse for having a motorcycle that is not fully compliant, as our evaluation criteria for judging the originality of a bike are based on both period magazine reviews and photographs from that time, which are reliable sources. Additionally, the "Ancillotti-Scarab Historical Register" has a well-equipped archive (approved by the Ancillotti family) that will be used as the sole arbiter in any future disputes regarding the originality of a motorcycle or any of its parts. To achieve the highest valuation for your motorcycle, it must be fully compliant with road circulation documents; this includes having a fully functional electrical system, a registration book, license plate, certificate of ownership, and proper registration. The motorcycle must also be in perfect working order, either fully restored or well-preserved. For mopeds, the original registration booklet or a duplicate issued by the motor vehicle inspection authority is considered official documentation. For original documents: +5%. For motorcycles without documents: -20% (to be applied to both the minimum and maximum valuations).
